Host sites are what make the Ada Lovelace Event possible
Each edition brings together schools, universities, organizations and educational spaces from different cities in Latin America that develop STEM activities together with girls and adolescents in their communities.

Who can be a host site?
Educational institutions, social organizations, cultural spaces, universities, clubs, libraries and projects linked to education, science and technology.
What is needed to be a host site?
- Be the first applying institution in the locality, or coordinate with an existing host site.
FIND A HOST SITE - Designate a reference person in charge of the event and communication with the organizing team.
- Have a space, an Internet connection and equipment for videoconferencing.
- Guarantee the participation of teachers, students and volunteers for the workshops.
- Have resources for the materials and printouts needed for the correct development of the activities. SEE ACTIVITIES
What do we have to do?
Organize the Event in your locality, attend virtual meetings prior to the event, and invite the girls of your community to take part in the workshops.
And on the day of the Event, what do we have to do?
Welcome the girls at the host site, organize the space, coordinate the activities and accompany the participants throughout the morning, while being part of a network connected live with other cities and countries in Latin America.
How does the Event unfold?
Each host site selects STEM activities from the repertoire and develops them locally together with its teaching and volunteer teams.
In addition, all host sites take part in two regional synchronous meetings: the opening and closing of the Event.

What does the organization provide?
Virtual training, activity guides, communication resources, organizational support and coordination of live regional meetings.
¿Cómo participar?
Nueva sede
Si tu institución participa por primera vez, deberá registrarse en la plataforma para formar parte de futuras ediciones.
Además, cada año será necesario confirmar su participación en la jornada correspondiente.
Ya soy sede
Si tu institución ya participó en ediciones anteriores, no necesitás volver a registrarla.
Solo tenés que ingresar a la plataforma y confirmar la participación para la próxima edición.
Importante
Registrar una sede y participar en una edición no es lo mismo.

• La participación en la jornada se confirma cada año
Si tu institución ya fue sede anteriormente, solo deberá confirmar su participación cuando se abra la nueva convocatoria.
